International Women’s Day was celebrated at Abdullah Sports Towers (AST). An impressive and colorful ceremony was held under the auspicious of Abdullah Builders & Developers, Rotary Club of Hyderabad Qasimabad (RCHQ) and Commander School System (CSS). Women participated in the evening in large numbers. On this occasion, new campus of CSS at AST was also inaugurated. Commander Zulifiqar Ahmed Memon briefed the audience about new campus. PP Imran Khan of RCQH highlighted the steps taken by Rotary International towards empowerment of women. Addressing the gathering, Col (R) Altaf Malik, Administrator AST appreciated women for their role in country’s development. Special Awards were distributed among women who performed in their respective fields. At the end, live performances were made by artists.
