Abdullah Builders and Developers organized a literacy seminar with the collaboration of Rotary Club Qasimabad Hyderabad, Rotary Club Karachi Platinum and Rotary Club of Karachi Kehkashan at Abdullah Mall Qasimabad, Hyderabad. Senior Rotary leaders, club presidents, secretaries, and a large number of Rotarians attended the event also.

Mr, Saleem Rao, Mr, Rizwan Adhiya, Mirza Izhar Hussain Baig, Prof. Saleem Mangi and other delivered their speeches. Imran Khan was the moderator of the session. He said that World Literacy Day is celebrated all over the world on September 8 but Rotary places so much importance on literacy that we celebrate the whole month in terms of literacy.

Sharing his views Mr, Saleem Rao said that in order to promote book reading, it is necessary to grow Rotary. It should be done at the grass root level. Mr, Rizwan Adhia said that today we have to teach the illiterate children on the streets. Vocational programs should be started under public-private partnership under the banner of Rotary. Mirza Izhar Hussain Baig said that the society has given us alot now we have to give to the society. He supported Rizwan Adhiya’s proposal and said that with the help of ABAD, Rotary will grow very fast, we have to keep our vision braod.

Earlier, Rotary Club Qasimabad President Ghulam Farid Lashari welcomed the participants. On this occasion, installation of Rotary Club Qasimabad and Rotary Club Jamshoro was also held.
