The Academy for the Promotion of Art and Literacy organized a two-day Hyderabad Literature Festival in association with Abdullah Group at the Excellence Club of Abdullah Sports Towers. The inaugural function was attended by eminent intellectuals including Prominent Intellectual Mehtab Akbar RashdiVice Chancellor Culture University Tando Jam Dr Fateh Muhammad marri, Chairman Abdullah Group Engineer Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi, Munawer Ali Mehesar, Masood Lohar, HameerSomro eminent artist and human rights activist SheemaKirmani Chief Organizer of Hyderabad Literature Festival IzharSoomro and there were hundreds of participants.
On this occasion, MantharFaqir and his children performed Raga Latifi. On 6th and 7th February, various topics including literature, art, education, environment and music were discussed in various sessions. Various book reception sessions were also held on this occasion. Various documentaries were also shown during the festival. An exhibition of photographs was also held. Various book stalls and handicraft stalls were set up in the festival in which the participants expressed keen interest. Music programs were also organized on both the days of the festival in which young and prominent artists performed their art to the fullest.
