In collaboration with the Rotary Club Karachi Kehkashan and Al Mustafa Welfare Society, a ‘Free Dental Camp’ was organized on February 20 at Deluxe Tower in Qasimabad, Hyderabad. An 8-member team of doctors treated more than 100 patients suffering from dental diseases, conducting detailed medical examinations. Various patients received teeth cleanings, and decayed or damaged teeth were extracted, with complimentary medicines provided to all attendees.

PDG Engineer Mohammad Iqbal Qureshi commended the initiative of the free dental camp, supported by Al Mustafa, expressing gratitude to the head of Al Mustafa Welfare Society, Dr. Haji Hanif Tayyab, and the medical team. Engineer Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi highlighted the prevalence of dental diseases among the underprivileged, often attributed to the use of betel nut, gutka, snuff, and other harmful substances, leading to the spread of mouth cancer.

He emphasized Rotary’s commitment to hosting additional free dental camps with the support of Al Mustafa Welfare Society, aiming to facilitate timely diagnosis of dental diseases and prevent the proliferation of infectious diseases such as cancer.
