CEREMONY IN HONOR OF SABIR QAIM KHANI AND ABDUL REHMAN RAJPUT HELD AT ABDULLAH MALL

In honor of Member National Assembly Engineer Sabir Hussain Qaim Khani and former Member Provincial Assembly Abdul Rehman Rajput for giving Government College Pholaili Hyderabad (Kali Mori) the status of a university and releasing funds from the federal government. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Tayyaba Zarif, Members of Provincial Assembly Muhammad Rashid Khilji, Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, Nasir Yasin Qureshi, President Gymkhana Saleem Qureshi, Former Principal Khalid Rajput, Usman Dahri. Former Acting VC Dr. Nasiruddin, Altaf Memon, Akram Ansari, Idrees Memon, Sikandar Rajput, Sajid Bhutto, Dr. Shams, Sohail Asim, Dr. Khalid Talpur, Haji Gulshan Elahi, Haji Nisar Memon, Altaf Memon, Daulat Ram, Mir Haider Ali Talpur,, Ali Hassan and A large number of city dignitaries including Kati Nooriabad, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce, Small Chambers of Commerce, Hyderabad Gymkhana and officials of Dialdas Club, Al Manai of Government College, eminent doctors and engineers participated. Addressing the function Iqbal Qureshi paid homage to the services of Sabir Qaim Khani and Abdul Rehman Rajput. He said that due to their efforts the college has got the status of a university. The establishment of a university in Hyderabad required time. Dr. Tayyaba Zarif expressed her determination to make the university the largest university in Pakistan in the next ten years. Sabir Qaim Khani said that he had presented the resolution of the university in the Sindh Assembly. Abdul Rehman Rajput said that ten years of struggle came to fruition when Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced to make the college a university on the occasion of centenary celebrations. On this occasion Iqbal Qureshi Presented commemorative shields to Sabir Hussain Qaim Khani and Abdul Rehman Rojput while presents were presented to the participants of the ceremony. Dr. Nafees Qureshi delivered the welcome address.
