International Women’s Day was celebrated at Abdullah Sports Towers, Qasimabad, Hyderabad. The event was organized by Abdullah Group in collaboration with Rotary International District 3271. Mr Irfan Baloch, SSP Hyderabad was the guest of honor. Mrs. Eva Kurniaty, senior Rotary leader from Indonesia was the Keynote Speaker. She spoke at length on the current year’s theme “Be Bold for Change”. Large number of women from different walks of life participated in the event besides Rotary members from various cities of Sindh also in full attendance. On this occasion, Engr Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi, Chief Executive, Abdullah Group emphasized on equal gender rights as Islam gives equal rights to men and women. He added that women are playing very important role in various fields successfully. Later, awards were distributed among women who have performed well in their respective fields. At the end, sumptuous lunch was served to all the guests.
